***BIOSHOCK***

Okay full disclosure this has got to be one of my favorite games of all time! It is truly a masterpiece 

***STORY***

You start out in the 1960's, on an airplane heading somewhere. You are over the Atlantic ocean when suddenly your plane goes down in the infinite darkness of the sea. You appear to be the only survivor of the plane crash and watch the wreckage burn and sink as you just drift in the water. A feeling of hopelessness over comes you as you realize you are stranded you turn and see towering out of the middle of the ocean is....A light house seemingly in the middle of the endless expanse of water. But what is this? How could this be? In my time of need here is a structure saving me from my fate of loneliness and despair. You swim to it there are staircases on both sides of the art deco tower you quickly pull yourself out of the water and are happy to see solid ground but where do the stairs go? you follow them to a door you open it and you see a submersible that looks like a sphere you step inside and the door closes and you descend into...

RAPTURE

 

The undersea city, where the rest of the story takes place. You join Rapture after a civil war between Andrew Ryan [*founder and builder of Rapture*] and Fontaine. where the inhabitants of the city have become addicted to Adam a gene altering substance and are now called splicers, twisted husks of the people they used to be bent on gathering more Adam to enhance their strange abilities.

you fight splicers, Big Daddys genetically enhanced humans grafted into a armored diving suite, Turrets and Primitive robots. Little sisters gather Adam and Big Daddys protect them making the little sisters very important to the game.

***GAMEPLAY***

Bioshock follows the typical FPS layouts with the added use of plasmids [* the powers such as fire, ice, bugs, telekinesis etc*] and some RPG elements added in. Mash that all together and you get an amazingly fun and addicting game with a riveting story to boot!

***GRAPHICS***

 The graphics are very well done it is so beautiful to see lighting, sounds, jump scares are abound in this game. The art deco used adds a certain creepiness to the undersea hell. look out a window when you can and you will see some of the buildings of Rapture and just awe at their beauty and how so much detail was put into just the backgrounds alone.

***COMBAT***

FPS style play and dark rooms, low lighting, and enemies that can come form anywhere make this game action packed and hard to put down! Trying to take on splicers and Big Daddys can be very challenging at times, but with some cleaver tactics and a quick trigger finger you should be fine.

***TOPSCORE***

I totally give this game a 10 outta 10 I love it!

As I said before I love this game. And I still play it to this day! keep it up Irrational games!!!

***FALLOUT 3***

Okay I know this one is WAY old but I've been playing it A LOT recently and felt the need to make you listen as I spew about it for a while 

***STORY***

You start out experiencing your birth bursting in to the arms of you dad [* this is where you got to customize you character,*] you dad say lets see what you will look like and you get chose who you will become. You then proceed to live out short clips of your life [*not that you die or anything*] they primarily serve as the tutorial. You pick up at your G.O.A.T. [* Kinda like a personality test that determines your fate in the Vault in which you reside.*] after to long something goes horribly wrong and you awoken by your childhood friend Amata telling you your dad is in trouble and left the vault. The overseer tries to capture you for your fathers deed you escape after him and that is when our story starts,

***GAMEPLAY***

Game play is classic Bethesda [* if you have played any of the oblivion games you will find this game quite easily to control *] you can switch between first and third person views. The V.A.T.S. [*or Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System*] this allows you to hit certain parts of a target [* i.e. head, torso,right and left arm. the arms. the weapon in its hands if its using one. and right and left leg*] usually critical hits that cripples the limb which you targeted majorly hindering your opponent. Your inventory has a weight limit [* I think it starts at 200lbs *] but you're able to increase this limit through level ups and mutations.

***ENEMIES***

Enemies include everything from raiders to super mutants to centaurs [* thats right those ugly things are like the guard dog for super mutants and the give me the creeps.... ~shivers~*]

there are many different kinds of enemies those are just a couple of them. the nuclear fallout have changed many of the local animals in to fearsome and grotesque creatures like the Yao guai. The Yao guai is a mutation of the D.C. Regions black bear [* and usually attack in pairs. At least that's what i found.*]

***GRAPHICS***

The graphics aren't the best but could be much worse very little clipping or polygon distortion. However i have found a couple glitches in kill animations or body graphics [* such as enemies being blown to pieces and then the resulting chunks floating in the air or whole skeletons just stand there after they had been killed*]

***COMBAT***

First or third person its your choice all and all if your fast and are a good shot you should be absolutely fine this game will be challenging though. Stay fast, stay light, stay alive!! 

***TOP SCORE***

I give it a 9.5 outta 10 I love it

I will continue to play till I finish the game and beat all the DLC

***WARFRAME***

           

Hello! I'm Lotus 

This one is on steam and I quite enjoy playing it in my spare time.

***STORY***

 Well, you play as a Tenno an alien life form, with a weapon called a warframe [* essentially power armor that you use to retake the solar system*] you are guided by something called the lotus and woman like alien that communicates to you through out you missions. The settings includes all of our planets and some of their moons. Where you battle the Grineer, the Corpus, and Infested for control of the planets and resources.

***GAMEPLAY***

Gameplay is action packed and Chaotic very fast paced and enjoyable. its third person point and shoot, your arsenal is customisable and includes a large gun such as a rifle,shotgun,bow,sniper,and heavy machine gun a small arms weapon such as a pistols,throwing knifes, hand held shotguns and grenade launchers and a melee weapon like swords, war hammers, broad swords, daggers, duel swords as you play you level up you equipment and can enhance everything in your arsenal.

***GRAPHICS***

The graphics are great and animation is smooth and very well done. The patches have fixed a lot of the minor bugs and animations glitches such as clipping and model warping and distortions. If you have the computer for it this game is beautiful and its free to play 

***CRAFTING***

You gather resources from around the solar system and are able to to build Warframes, weapons, and other essential items.

***ALERT SYSTEM***

This feature is really cool in real time they have special in game events such and a rare enemy or a secret mission you can do for rare crafting material, weapons, and  blueprints for your arsenal 

***TOP SCORE***

I give it a 7.75 outta 10

Its a fun game but it does get repetitive after a while so for I've logged 96 hours on it. Still I recommend trying it out I mean its free!

Okay, this game is HILARIOUS!!! I laughed all the way through it! Now, having said that lets move on to the... 

***STORY***

YOU PLAY AS ME!!!

The whole premise of this game is Deadpool want to make a video game of his life. You play as the merc with the mouth DEADPOOL!!! You start out in his apartment and are soon asked to verify the script for the game. But Deadpool has no time for such things as reading scripts, he much rather, well...

WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I'm singing your face with my sword!!!

*** GAMEPLAY***

Its a Typical Hack and slash, game with buy able upgrades and weapons. The melee weapons include his sword, sais and Hammers [* the hammers are my personal favorite *]. Guns are pistols, shotgun, sub machine guns, and laser rifles!! The stuff Deadpool say is just hilarious. Its exactly what you would expect out of a Deadpool game. 

***GRAPHICS*** 

The graphics are not exceptional but they work great for the game and the cut scenes are all very funny. I saw little to no glitches or bugs or clipping. A little laggy when there where a lot of enemies on the screen and combat slowed a little 

***COMBAT***

As I said before its a hack and slash game with enemies come at you from all sides kill them fast or even the mighty Deadpool may die [* though he would never admit it *]. so pick your weapon and get ready for a bloody good time. [* plenty one-liners during combat that will keep you giggling till you eradicate everything*]

***TOP SCORE***

I give it a 9 outta 10

For sheer comedy gold I absolutely loved it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for a good laugh and a fun time. definitely a casual game. I say it is one of the better super hero game we have gotten. I really enjoyed it a couldn't put it down till I beat it.

No.3 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Gates To Infinity

***POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON***

***GATES TO INFINITY***

[Okay, full disclosure, I LOVE POKEMON and MYSTERY DUNGEON, so i may be a little biased here]

  

***STORY***

You start the game as a human [*AS YOU DO IN ALL MYSTERY DUNGEON GAMES*] and are soon called to save the Pokemon world form complete destruction. You don't find this out till later but you kinda get the feeling right off the bat. Now, where this game differs form the other MYSTERY DUNGEON games you actually get to select the Pokemon you want to be [* In the other games you you take a personality test of some sort to determine which Pokemon you will become.*] The selection in this game is limited to the starters of Gen V, Pikachu and  Axew. You also get to select your partner Pokemon as in the previous games.

 [*You pick from the remaining Pokemon you didn't chose as your character, I picked Snivy as my character and Oshawott as my partner*]

***GAMEPLAY***

Its a grid layout for navigation, with turn based combat sequences [*same with the previous games in the series*]. I found it to be easier than any of the previous games. you start out with just you and your partner Pokemon but after some play time you can form a team allowing two more Pokemon to join you, I also like that fact that you other team mates [*depending on who you want to join you in your adventures*] are key characters in the story! My only complaint...I wish the story was longer but there is still plenty to do post-main story line.

***GRAPHICS***

The graphics are astounding I loved the 3D designs [* I played most of the game with the 3D function on my 3DS off *] and still enjoyed it. The cinematics are very well done, add in the 3D and it made for some memorable game play [*usually put a smile on my face too*]

I give it a 8 outta 10 

Really enjoyed the game Ill I continue playing till I evolve my characters. I recommend it for the Pokemon fans out there, but I don't think its a play for sake of playing sorta game. I look forward to the DLC.
